Personal Life

I was born and raised in the small town of Scranton, Pennsylvania (yes, like The Office). I attended the University of Scranton for undergraduate. I majored in strategic communications with concentrations in public relations and women's and gender's studies. I committed to the masters program at Texas Tech in January 2022. In August 2022, I packed up my car and drove to Lubbock, Texas!

For all of college, I worked and managed a local ice cream shop (hence, my love for ice cream). The group of girls I worked with are still my best friends. My internship experience includes web page design, blog management, and search engine optimization. At Texas Tech, I am a graduate teaching assistant for a speech and professional communication course. Because of this opportunity, I have found a new love for teaching.

In my free time, I love to run, practice yoga/ pilates, and teach spin classes! My favorite foods are ice cream, of course, peanut butter and coffee. It is such fun to explore new coffee shops, which has been a new hobby of mine in Texas.
